There's nowhere less: a wristwatch with one hand

How many hands do you need in order to determine the time? Three? Two? No! It turns out that just one is enough. True, this arrow should be appropriate. For example, like a clock hand called One Line, created by the designer under the pseudonym Sam.

The development of technology, paradoxically as it may seem, entails two natural, seemingly mutually exclusive processes. On the one hand, technology is becoming more and more complicated. And, on the other hand, this complexity simplifies our life, makes it faster and more capacious.
Take, for example, an ordinary wristwatch. Many of them have long ceased to be mechanical. In addition to, in fact, the instructions, what time is it, in our time they still know many other things that are useful to the owner of things. For example, play music, determine location and even make calls.

Or, for example, a verbal clock from designer Tynan Mayhew, in which even the hand is not provided. After all, not everyone is given such a complex skill as how to determine time from them. In this watch, the current time is simply written in words.
But the German designer, known under the pseudonym Sam, creating the One Line watch, decided to still not get rid of the hands. True, he reduced their number to a minimum - to one.
Despite such seemingly excessive minimalism, according to the One Line watch it will still be easier to determine what time it is. After all, this single arrow (thick at one end and thin at the other) will bend depending on the passage of time. And its thick half will indicate the hour, and thin - the minute. The second hand is not provided here. But, in principle, it is possible after all without it. Especially when excessive accuracy can damage the brilliant concept.

Visually, everything will turn out very stylish and beautiful. It is planned that these watches will have three color options: pink, silver and white. And in order to navigate in time and at night, they will be provided with backlight.
Unfortunately, for now, the One Line watch is just a concept. But it is believed that in the near future they will become a reality. The idea is painfully good!
